Each country has a dedicated Google Drive folder, which can be found here.
This folder should serve as a shared database for documents related to Fresking and community activities in your country.
As a Country Coordinator, you have the right to add, modify, and share content, as well as include other members of the community to the organisation of this space.
A note on GDPR data regulations. In line with our efforts to align with the EU’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) rules, we're asking for your cooperation to clean up your Google Country Drives. See below.
In line with our efforts to align with the EU’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) we’re asking for your help to clean up your Google Country Drives!
You can find out everything you need to know by watching this short video made by Juliette from the international mobilisation team. Here, she explains what GDPR is and what it means for us at Climate Fresk: Complying with GDPR in the Drives (Button)

What is GDPR? The GDPR is an EU law effective from May 25, 2018, enhancing personal data control and standardising protection across the EU. It mandates consent for data use, grants data access and deletion rights, requires breach reporting within 72 hours, and imposes heavy fines for non-compliance. It applies globally to entities processing EU residents' data.
We are continuously working on making our files in the general Google Drives compliant, but we need your help when it comes to your Country Drives!
Concretely and importantly, we want to ask you to take the time to go through the files on your Country Drives and check which ones contain personal data. For each of them, you need to check:
Please review the files in your country’s drive and ensure no documents containing personal data are accessible to "anyone with a link”
Please delete any files which contain information that are no longer of use to you.
This is not the most interesting part of your country coordinator experience, we are well aware. But as it concerns a legal risk for the association, we are counting on your help.
So thank you in advance!
This collaborative Fresker database seeks to bring together a collection of resources enabling members of our community to build a discussion phase of the workshop which is better adapted to their country or region.
We know that effectively distinguishing between climate adaptation and climate mitigation is crucial, and for two reasons.
It enables experts to design and implement effective climate policies.
It enables you and your fellow Freskers to facilitate a Climate Fresk discussion phase which contextualises the impact of climate breakdown at the local level for workshop participants.
In this database, you will also find a Discussion Phase Facilitation Guide, created by Blue Belt Fresker Anastasia Dereppe, which focuses on low-emission countries that face a high risk of experiencing some of the worst effects of climate breakdown.
In her guide, which you can read in English and in French, you can find examples of climate adaptation intiatives from around the world, as well as facilitation guidance on the following subjects:
Understand the Local Context
Focus on Local and Viable Solutions
Inspire with Successful Examples
Audience: Upper class of these low-emission countries
Influence and Societal Engagement
Lobbying Within Their Companies
Influence on Public Policies
Posture: Listening, Facilitating Exchange, and Requesting Feedback
