The County Coordinator role encompasses a variety of activities that can call upon a broad skill set. 

We know, however, that your capacity to engage with these activities depends on several factors, including the size of your community, the number of people you have in your core organisational team, your personal strengths and interests, and the amount of free time you can dedicate to the role. 

In this context, we hope that the information found in this Missions section helps you to better understand, manage, and enjoy your role as CC!

Concretely, we've broken down the CC role into three pillars of activity. A Climate Fresk County Coordinator is a:

1️⃣ Community Leader

• Building a sense of community around the organisation and promotion Climate Fresk workshops

2️⃣ Community Spokesperson

• Collaborating with other organisations and representing Climate Fresk at events and in other spaces

3️⃣ Community Intermediary

• Acting as the primary link between the Climate Fresk NGO and our communities of Freskers around the world
  
  

We know that the best way to go further is to go together, so you shouldn't be surprised to find that community is at the heart of everything we do. 😉

Being a Country Coordinator is a volunteer role. We know that many of you have full-time time jobs and that you promote the Climate Fresk project in your own free time. 

First of all, thank you, and second, we are aware that this space contains a lot of information, which may seem a little daunting, especially as a volunteer. 

Rather than intimidating you, we hope this guidance:

• Enables those of you who want to go further and upskill in various aspects of the role to do so

• Offers new CCs useful insights about where to begin and how the CC role can evolve over time

• Inspires you to share resources and launch Working Groups on specific subjects within you national community

• Helps you in other aspects of your community work, careers, and lives more broadly

Country Coordinators are an indispensable part of the Climate Fresk project. 

Your impact - in the country where you live, on your community of Freskers, and to the environmental cause as a whole - makes you a pioneer of this ecological and social transition, a pioneer with the tools and ambition to spread climate awareness and build a thriving community of inspired climate educators in every corner of the world.
