This year, six national Climate Fresk communities participated in a Local Coordinator (LC) pilot, which concluded during the summer of 2024.
In developing and then testing an initial framework, which would seek to support Country Coordinators in bringing onboard their own LCs to further develop Fresk communities around the world, the pilot has enabled us to:
Assess the viability of the LC role
Gain invalubale knowledge about different Climate Fresk communities and their operational diversity
Test the process of onboarding new LCs, identifying the essential components, main challenges, and general structure of a future framework
Set in motion a reflection on how best to role out a framework for all Climate Fresk communities around the world.Β
We want to say an enormous thank you to all of those who participated in this pilot and we look forward to presenting you with the findings very soon!
More on the Local Coordinator framework will be announced in due course.
